The
Brijuni archipelago covers a group of 14 islets of exceptional beauty,
also famous for their archeological findings. Brijuni were declared a
national park in 1984. Veli Brijun is the largest island. A four-hour
ride on a tourist train will take you on safari park where various
exotic animals live wild.
you can visit the remains of a Byzantine fortification from the 2nd
century B.C. as well as a Roman summer residence from 1st century A.D.
Visit the photo-exposition "Tito on Brijuni" and the Archeological
Museum and the 15th century St. Germain's church.
