Učka,
a mountain in the eastern part of Istria, the highest peak Vojak
(1.401m). Its slopes abound in water sources and feature several canyon
and transverse valleys as well as many other karts formations
(sinkholes, caves). Učka represent an important climatic barrier which
forces air masses to rise; this in turn causes considerable rainfall.
The main point on Učka is the Poklon Pass, which can be reached from all
seaside resorts. From the Istrian side are walking trails from Lupoglav
to the entrance to the Učka Tunnel. There are several mountain
